American Diabetes Association issues new guidelines for type 1 diabetes

In its new document, the American Diabetes Association called for an A1c target of less than 7.5% for all under 18s, bringing its recommendations into line with those of the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes, the Pediatric Endocrine Society, and the International Diabetes Federation (BMJ)
